I'm currently an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering with the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City at University of Macau.

Before joining University of Macau, I worked as a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, Berkeley and a research affiliate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, CA, USA, from 2018 to 2019.

I received the B.S. and Ph.D. degree both in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. From Jan. 2016 to Jan. 2017, I was an exchange student researcher at University of California, Berkeley.

Our group's research interests span the areas of operational research, electrical, thermal and transportation engineering. Our vision is to develop cutting-edge theories and technologies (majorly based on optimization, data analytics and machine learning) to help policy makers, practitioners and energy proconsumers to make "smart decisions" in building and managing their energy systems. Currently, we've been focusing on power and transportation nexus, distributed energy resources, integrated energy system, and internet of things for smart energy.
